My chiropractic work is where person-centred and clinical meets, helping you work through health issues including pain, immobility, injury and post-op rehabilitation.

My goal is to get you living the life you want to live again and moving your body with ease.

I have a Masters in Chiropractic and as a McTimoney chiropractor, I use a hands-on approach to guide you through gentle, intuitive movements to find and rebalance problem areas that are causing pain and dysfunction. My care plans include the use of dry needling, deep tissue massage and kinesiology taping to help you get back to, and maintain, optimum health.

Often, the issue originates in a different part of the body and that’s where I come in to find the root of the problem, help restore your movement, function, and mobility, as well as reduce pain without the use of medication or surgery.

Other Modalities used within my Chiropractic treatments

Shockwave therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses pulses of energy, or “shockwaves,” to trigger a healing response in soft tissues that have been damaged and are experiencing chronic pain. These pulses of acoustic energy are focused on the target tissues by the applicator of the shockwave therapy machine and are believed to cause localized microtrauma which enhances break down of calcifications and stimulates the body’s natural healing processes.

Neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) uses a safe, non-invasive, low-frequency current that is applied to the muscles through electrodes on the skin. Electrical stimulation excites the nerves that innervate desired muscles, causing them to contract. Stimulating muscles to contract in this way enhances motor learning, muscle re-education, strength, and endurance. Brilliant for those with reduced shoulder range of motion, those who has been in a cast causing weakness, plus many more.

A TENS machine is a small device that sends electrical impulses into your body. The electrical impulses can reduce the pain signals going to the spinal cord and brain, which may help relieve pain and relax muscles. They may also stimulate the production of endorphins, which are the body's natural painkillers. Perfect for if you don’t want to take any or more oral medication.

Dry needling treats underlying muscular trigger points for the management of neuromusculoskeletal pain and movement impairments

Kinesiology taping creates a lift that unloads the underlying tissues allowing healing. It is also used to add extra support to muscles or joints that need it and helps reduce inflammation and bruising.
